Assessment-Based Ayurvedic Management and Supportive Care

Areas of Care

Conditions Supported with Ayurvedic Management

Joint pain and arthritis-type complaints are approached with assessment-based Ayurvedic management — typically combining internal medicines with therapies such as Basti, warm bolus fomentations (Patra Pottali / Churna Pinda Swedana) and, where indicated, Agni Karma.
Stiffness, swelling or restricted movement in joints is evaluated individually. Care plans draw on the hospital’s special interest in musculoskeletal disorders and are reviewed at follow-up.
Knee complaints are among the most common concerns we see. After assessment, management may include localised therapies, fomentation and classical procedures selected for your presentation.
Back pain is managed with individualised plans that may include Basti, medicated fomentations and guidance on posture and routine — built around the findings of your consultation.
Neck pain and stiffness are supported with assessment-based care, commonly combining local therapies, fomentation and, where appropriate, Nasya.
Peripheral pain, heaviness or stiffness in the limbs is evaluated for its underlying pattern, and therapy is selected accordingly rather than from a fixed menu.
Disc-related back complaints are approached conservatively with classical Ayurvedic management, including Basti-centred plans where assessment indicates. Our physician will explain what Ayurvedic care can and cannot offer in your specific case.
Long-standing, recurrent fever patterns are taken up for supportive Ayurvedic management after a detailed history and assessment.
Skin concerns such as psoriasis are supported with classical Ayurvedic management, which may include cleansing procedures like Virechana where assessment indicates, along with internal medicines and diet guidance.
Recurrent rhinitis and allied nasal complaints are traditionally supported with therapies such as Nasya, combined with internal medicines and routine guidance.
For autoimmune conditions we offer supportive Ayurvedic care focused on symptom management and overall wellness, alongside your ongoing medical treatment. We do not advise discontinuing prescribed medicines.
We provide Ayurvedic support for diabetes management — diet, routine and classical supportive measures — as a complement to, never a replacement for, your prescribed medical care.
