Classical Blood-Letting, Used Selectively After Assessment
Raktmokshana
Raktmokshana is the fifth of the classical Panchakarma procedures: controlled blood-letting, traditionally considered in certain skin and localised conditions where vitiated blood is implicated in classical understanding.
Of all the Panchakarma procedures this is the most selective: it is performed only where assessment clearly indicates it, with strict attention to hygiene, technique and aftercare, and under the direct supervision of our physician.
How it is approached
Careful assessment to confirm suitability before anything is planned
Classical technique performed with strict hygiene
Direct physician supervision throughout
Clear aftercare and follow-up instructions
If Raktmokshana is not suitable in your case, our physician will tell you plainly and suggest an alternative approach.
